Historical Motorcycle tour: It been known to the world that Nepal is a country with full of Historical sites, mountains and all the natural beauties that can only be experienced in Nepal. So our team has come up with a day historical motorcycle tour in Nepal just for you. This time we will take you the destination of Dhulikhel, Namobuddha via Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Our day starts with an early Breakfast and the start of the engine to make us feel the real wind of Nepal on our bike.The sound of Engine and the throttle going hand to hand takes us first to the destination Bhaktapur durbar square which lies 13 KM east of Kathmandu. It also listed as a UNESCO world heritage sites Bhaktapur Durbar square consists of four distinct squares (Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square) making it one as a whole and its history goes way back to 16th Century.
Next, we will visit Namobuddha one of the historical Buddhist Pilgrimage sites in Nepal and lies 40 KM away from Kathmandu. Little outskirt of the city but the ride will offer us with uphill 8km dirt road track till we reach Namobuddha. Namobuddha is a house to old Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery and is considered one of the holiest place in the world. This place is also known as a place where the Buddha in a previous life as a prince gave his body to a starving tigress and her cubs.
Dhulikhel another major site of today motorcycle tour is 30 km ride from the city of Kathmandu. This destination was also known as the gateway to Tibetan Border before the earthquake hit Nepal in 2015 and a place of overnight stay for the magnificent views of snow-faced mountains seen in a fine panorama from Dhulikhel. We plan to end our historical motorcycle tour with the fine view of the sunset and a little dark ride back way to the hotel.
