Muktinath &Manakamana Tour is a religious and interesting tour because we get chance to travel at cable car and and short trekking while going Muktinath. Muktinath is of the religious importance to both Hindus and Buddhists. The famous temple of Lord Muktinath is situated about 18 kms north east of Jomsom in the north central part of Nepal, at an altitude of about 3750m. It is believed that all miseries and sorrows are relieved once you visit this temple (Mukti = Nirvana, Nath = God). The main shrine of Muktinath is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. Manakamana is the wish-fulfilling goddess; this belief is so ingrained in the collective consciousness of the Nepalese that many makes a trip to Manakamana every year without fail.
Day 01 – Arrive Kathmandu
Welcome at Kathmandu airport and drive to hotel. Rest of the day is free. Early evening at 6 Pm visit Pashupatinath temple to observe Aarati etc.
Day 02 – Kathmandu-Pokhara by drive
After breakfast drive to Pokhara.
After check in visit lake side market and including boating and visit to Tal Barahi temple.
Day 03 – Pokhara-Jomsom flight
After early breakfast flight to Jomsom, drive to Muktinath by local reserved Jeep/18km rough road one way /3 hr
After puja drive back to Jomsom for overnight.
Day 04 – Flight Jomsom-Pokhara
After early breakfast fly to Pokhara.
Receive and drive to Hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing of Bindhabasini Temple,Mahendra cave( Bat cave), Gupteswore cave, Davis fall & Int’l Mountain Museum.
Note: Jomsom flight is weather permitting flight. In case flight get cancel next day flight to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu. In Apr weather will be fine.
Day 05 – drive to Kathmandu
Early morning visit Sarangkot Mountain viewpoint for 2 hour
After breakfast drive to Kathmandu
Visit Manakamana Temple en-route
Rest of the day is free.
Evening dinner with cultural show
Day 06 – Kathmandu full day tour
After breakfast sightseeing Boudhanath,Swayambhunath, Kathmandu darbar square and Pashupatinath also if unable to do on one.
Day 07 – Kathmandu
Early morning at 04:30 Am leave hotel for Nagarkot for sunrise & Mountain view with pack breakfast. It is 30 km one way and takes 1 hr to 1 ½ hr time to reach. Our guide will take you to Hotel Club Himalaya from where you can see best sunrise and enjoy Mountain view. You can have hot coffee there for which you can pay directly. Around 09:30/ 10 Am drive back to Changu Narayan temple for tour then to Bhaktapur darbar square which is very popular among 6 world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. You can have lunch in Bhaktapur darbar square then drive via Budhanilakantha to Kirtipur for tour then to Dakshinkali temple. Here there will be a bit rush which you and guide talk and set timing accordingly. Or one place if remain say Budhanilakantha we can do tomorrow while going to airport for departure.
Day 08 – Departure
After breakfast drive to Airport for final departure from Nepal.
