EXPLORING DHAULAGIRI & HIDDEN VALLEY TREK

TRIP INTRODUCTION

Dhaulagiri Base camp trek 8167m takes you to the world seventh tallest mountain. Dhaulagiri ranges consist of several peaks soaring above 7000m. This trails are full of an adventurous trek and are among 5 most adventurous destination in NepalThis trail follows off the beaten track of Annapurna towards Hidden valley of Dhaulagiri. This fascinating Dhaulagiri hidden valley trek follow rugged terrain with fewer trekkers. Dhaulagiri massif extends 120 km from the Kaligandaki river west to the Bheri river. It was first climbed on May 13, 1960, by a Swiss/ Austrian/ Nepali expedition team.
 
Trekking with Parikrama Treks on Dhaulagiri Base camp trek is a strenuous trek. We will lead this trail for 25 days from the dates of arrival till the dates of departures. This trek is a full camping tent where guest will stay at the tent on the camping sites. The choices of the special meals and the enjoyment of dance and songs. This trek is sure to be the best adventurous trek of all time with our guides and porter. On this trek, we will pass through several base camp and crossing french col 5350m. This hidden valley and the Base camp trek is sure to provide exotic natural beauty on the trail.
 
This is a long, difficult trek around Dhaulagiri (8167m) that starts from Beni. This 25 days of the trek will ends once we arrive at the city of Lakes “Pokhara”. The trekking route follows the Myagdi Khola westwards to Darbang. With the turn to north through lowland forests into the highlands destination. Much of the route is on snow and glaciers as it crosses French Col pass (5240m). Then we traverse the head of Hidden Valley and crosses Dhampus Pass (5155m). The trek ends with a steep descent to Marpha and a return to Pokhara via the Ghorapani ridge.

Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu a representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel.
Day 02: Early morning flight to Pokhara. Trek to Bhaduri.
Day 03: Trek to Dhobila (660m).
Day 04: Trek to Shastra Danda (777m).
Day 05: Trek to Beni (850m).
Day 06: Trek to Babichaour (1020m).
Day 07: Trek to Darbang (1113m).
Day 08: Trek to Sibang (1750m).
Day 09: Trek to Muri (2000m).
Day 10: Trek to Jugapani.
Day 11: Trek to Boghara.
Day 12: Trek to Lapache Kharka.
Day 13: Trek to Chartare.
Day 14: Trek to Italy Base Camp.
Day 15: Trek to French Pass (5334m).
Day 16: Trek to Yak Kharka.
Day 17: Trek to Marpha.
Day 18: Trek to Marpha/Kalopani.
Day 19: Trek to Kalopani/Tatopani.
Day 20: Trek to Tatopani/Ghorapani.
Day 21: Trek to Ghorapani/Birethanti. Weather permitting your trekking crew might prepare a farewell treat for you. You would be expected to join in the singing and the dancing!
Day 22: Trek to Nayapull. Transfer to the Pokhara Hotel. A free afternoon in Pokhara
Day 23: Fly or drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel. O/N hotel
Day 24: In Kathmandu. This is a cushion day that has been built into the itinerary to allow for delays due to flights or other reasons beyond our control. If you are able to complete your trek in time then this day may be used for sight seeing around Kathmandu Valley. or free for shopping days. O/N Hotel.
Day 25: Depart Kathmandu
