01 DAY: – Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters) and transfer to hotel:
Our airport representative will pick you up and transfer you to hotel.
02 DAY: – Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley & an orientation:
After breakfast, our professional tour guide will take you for the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley. We visit Kathmandu Durbar squire, Monkey Temple, Pasupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa and return to hotel.
03 DAY: – Departure transfer to domestic airport for flight to Lukla. After an early morning flight by Twin Otter aircraft rushes to Lukla ( Hillary-Tenzing Airport- 2800 m ), the most renowned mountain airstrip in the world. Originally conceived by Sir Edmund Hillary’s Himalayan Trust as an emergency evacuation runway for casualties brought to the Trust’s hospital at nearby Kunde, Lukla is now one of the busiest runways in Nepal. On the flight we watch the rugged foothills give way to the snowline of the Himalaya; many of the world’s highest mountains, including Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu (the world’s 3rd, 4th, and 5th highest respectively) may sometimes be seen from the window of the plane. On arrival, we meet our Sherpas and after a cup of tea we pick up the trail out of Lukla. Surprisingly, this high-altitude trek begins by descending to the river at Phakding. Lunch en route

04 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Phakding – Namche (3445m).
The first day may have been surprisingly long for some, but resting at Phakding allows us to begin the ascent to Namche Bazaar first thing in the morning. At about half-way up the hill, a gap in the trees allow us to spy Everest for the first time. If the weather is clear the top of the South-West Face will be just visible behind the long Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. A plume can often be seen stretching away from the very summit.

Namche is the most prosperous and the largest town in the Khumbu. A bazaar is held here every Saturday. The wares on display include meat, grains and vegetables, tennis shoes and trinkets as well as hand woven aprons and Tibetan boots. The Sherpas play host to trader from the foothills, as well as Tibetans from over the border. Thamserku (6648m), Kwangde Ri (6187m) and Khumbila (5707m) surround the natural bowl that Namche sits in.

05 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Namche – Rest/acclimatisation day.
This is a place to take day off to allow our bodies to adjust to the rarefied atmosphere before ascending to higher altitudes. The secret of safe acclimatisation is to ‘climb high, sleep low’ so it is safe for the more energetic amongst us to hike up the hill behind Namche to the airstrip at Syangboche ( 3760 m), or stroll across to the museum behind the police post. Others may prefer to ‘chill out’ and visit one of the lodges for a freshly-baked cinnamon roll. Namche is a busy and bustling trading place and there is always plenty going on. Lunch en route

06 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Namche – Tengboche 3860m. The trail goes up through rhododendron forest and there is always good chance of seeing pheasants in this area. Emerging the trail contours across the slope offering magnificent views eastwards to Tengboche and its surrounding mountains. Ahead lies Ama Dablam 22487’/6856m the most beautiful of all Himalayan peaks and a great expedition favorite. To the east above the classically located Tengboche are the flutings and razor sharp ridges of Thamserku 22330’/6808m. Total 6 hours. Lunch en route

07 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Tengboche- Pangboche( 3985m ) – Dingboche ( 4530m ) Continue on gradual upwards slope through alpine meadow and sherpa villages. . All the way steep up hill walk and the trail is rough in parts. Ridges offer the opportunity to get close up views of Ama Dablam. Total 5 half/ 6 hours walk. Lunch en route

09 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Dingboche – Lobuche 4930m. We climb up to the ridge and stay high, mesmerized by the views of Tawoche and Cholatse, until we reach the tea houses at Lobuche. A steep stiff ascent to the terminal moraine of the Khumbu glacier is now tackled. The top of the climb is marked by a series of stone monuments to commemorate some of the climbers that have not returned from expeditions to this region.The Lhotse ridge is simply awesome. 10 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge: Lobuche (4,930 m) – Everest Base Camp (5,486 m) – Gorakshep (5,180 m)
After breakfast trek from Loboje to Everest Base Camp and Gorakshep. This is a long but rewarding day, taking about seven hours. Trek up the valley following the rocky moraine path, view icy glacial pond and icebergs down below of Khumbu glacier. After the last rocky moraine dunes, a short downhill walk brings you to Gorakshep, the flat field below Kala Patthar (5,545 m) and Mt. Pumori (7,145 m). Gorakshep is the location of the original Everest Base Camp with the new camp being further up the valley. Now the trail winds through rocky path and Khumbu glacier. The view of Nuptse, Lho-La and Khumbutse appears at the front of you. After some time you retrace back passing through Khumbu glacier with magnificent views of Lobuche, Cholatse, Mt. Pumori and Tabuche. Lunch en route

11 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge: Gorakshep (5,180 m) – Kala Pattar (5,545 m) – Loboche (4,931 m)
Today we trek from Gorakshep to Kala Pattar before returning to Loboje. We make an early morning climb to Kala Pattar and see the amazing views of sunrise. From Kala Pattar you have a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks such as Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt.
Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more. Lunch enroute

12 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Lobuche – Pheriche 4243m. We scoot back across and down the moraine to Dughla, then stay along the ridge, high above Periche. A gradual descent.There are great views here of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, the Amphu Laptsa and Cho Oyu, a pretty pyramid peak, Island Peak 6139m the most popular of the “Trekking Peaks’ stand by itself at the east end of the valley. 14 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Tengboche – Namche 3445m. 15 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Namche – Lukla 2880 m. Most people head towards Lukla with a heavy heart. There is something very special about the setting, the villages and the people of the high Khumbu hills and valleys. 166 DAY: – Breakfast at lodge Lukla-Kathmandu. Another chance to enjoy this great flight.
