Located in the north of Kathmandu Valley and the bordering the valley of Nepal from Tibet there is a beautiful place known as Langtang. Langtang region consist of around 4,500 people and living inside this Langtang national park it sure is one place which need to be cherished by the trekkers. Most of the livelihood product are form nature fro firewood and timber. Varieties of climatic zone from subtropical to Alpine can be found with 25% land totally under forest.
This high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their cousins in the Middle Hills. This region north of Kathmandu offers a multitude of trekking destination. The three major areas are Langtang, Gosainkund and Helambu, which can be pooled in many diverse ways. Langtang region is a slender valley that lies just south of the Tibetan border. It is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. A visit to the Langtang Valley offers an opening to explore villages, to climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at ease low altitude. You can vary the trek to Langtang by returning to Kathmandu via the holy lakes of Gosainkund at 4300 meters, or you can make a short trek from Dhunche to Gosainkund. You can also include Helambu in a Langtang trek, either via Gosainkund or across the 5106-metre Ganja La.
With the endangered species like Himalayan black Bear, Red Panda, and ofcoures Himalayan Tahr and rhesus monkey are some of the special animal found in this region. And most of all the stories of seeing the mythical creature that can only be found in the Himalayas “Yeti”. But for us we can also enjoy the peaks like Langtang Lirung 7234 m, Langtand Ri 7205 m, Dorje lakpa 6966 m, Loenpo Gang 6979 m, Changbu 6781 m, Yansa Tsenji 6690 m aqnd many more.
Now our main theme for this area is to uplift this region by any means possible but for this we will be asking for your support. Langtang region was completely swiped away by a massive avalanche followed by the earthquake in April 2015. With the estimation of life loss 176 resident and 80 foreigners and 10 army personal with more than 100 never recovered. So we asked all the trekkers or volunteer association to support our team to visit this area and help the people and lets provide our small support for these family.
