A Day ride- Dakshinkali to Kulekhani Water Reservoir Kulekhani is a famous man made water reservoir with hydro dam project. It is a beautiful and panoramic landscape that lies about 43 km far from Kathmandu in Makwanpur district. Almost 90% of the road are black topped and the trip is enjoyable with beautiful scenery, lake that stretches 7km and preserved jungles. It is famous destination for fishing, hiking and boating. On the way we visit the famous Dakshinkali temple and Seshnarayan temple. We will take a lunch nearby this lake with a local Nepali family who will prepare fish from this lake. After strolling around few hours we continue our ride towards a beautiful village of Chitlang rich in farming. The chitlang gives a magnificientl view of Kathmandu Valley. After a look around of the dam, we ride back to Kathmandu from Tistung to Thankot.
