Mount Pumori Expedition 7129m: To the Northwest of Nepal lies the fascinating country of the legendry Sherpas. In this land of mountains, Pumori means “The land of Mountain daughter” stands aloof and proud as if aware of its intense effect on the valley below. Pumori, this incredible pyramid of snow and rocks, is indeed the pride of the Solo Khumbu.
Pumori lies eight kilometer west of Mount Everest. is generally considered to be technically challenging and requires climbers to be experienced as well as in faultless physical condition. Mount Pumori Expedition 7129m was first climbed on May 17, 1962 by Gerhard Lenser on a german- Swiss expedition. For one such climber this mountain could become the most rewarding challenger in the Himalaya.
Mount pumori has claimed more life than we can imagine and around 500 climbers are also successful to have submit by 2005 and now there are more in numbers Mount pumori Expedition 7129m offer solid views of Tibet, Nepal and Everest. There urge to climb this mountain was drastically increased by 2008. For one such climber this mountain could become the most rewarding challenger in the Himalaya.
Pumori climbing route starts off at Lukla. For the actual climb we will use the classical route first opened by a German -Swiss team in 1962. This route requires the least amount of technicality but is exposed to objective dangers such as avalanche prone section and a section exposed to sera fall. The Base Camp is at an altitude of 3500m and the advanced camp at an altitude of 5900m. This mountain is always known to be the starting point of Avalanche taking the lives of many. many believes that this mountain was the mail cause of 2105 avalanche. By looking at the safety measures we prefer to take this mountain little by little with comfort for both the climbers and to the natural habitat of pumori climbing route.
