Damodar Saribung Trekking and climbing peaks just north of Mustang region is at the outer limits close to Tibet, where rugged landscapes and ancient customs come together in very exclusive details of lands elapsed by time hardly ever visited by westerners.
The trek starts from Jomsom for this spectacular Damodar Saribung traverse from Mustang as we cross several high passes as well as the Saribung La (5600m), and come forward to the spiritual land of Nar Phu Valley deep into Tibetan culture. Saribung Expedition is gaining recognition amongst trekkers because of its friendly climbing nature and it easiness technicalities. Almost as in all trekking areas of the Annapurna, the highlight of the region includes the stunning landscapes, stretched arid rough terrain and glacier and grandeur of the high Himalayan plateaus and the isolation of Damodar Saribung traverse region.
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (200 km/6-7 hours: Drive by tourist bus.
Day 03: Fly to Jomsom (2720m). Trek to Kagbeni (2810m)
Day 04: Trek to Chele (3050m) Camp
Day 05: Trek to Geling (3570m) Camp
Day 06: Trek to Dhakmar (3820m) Camp
Day 07: Trek to Lo Manthang (3809m) Camp
Day 08: Excursion around Lo Manthang. Camp
Day 09: Trek to Dhi Gaon (3360m) Camp
Day 10: Trek to Luri Gompa (3500m) Camp
Day 11: Trek to Ghuma Tanthi (4856m) Camp
Day 12: Trek to Namta Khola – Near Lake (4200m) Camp
Day 13: Trek to Saribung Base Camp (5240m). Camp
Day 14/16: Ascent Saribung Peak (6346m) and back to Base Camp.
Day 17: Trek to Nogaru (4300m). Camp
Day 18: Trek to Phu (4100m). Camp
Day 19: Rest day at Phu. Camp
Day 20: Trek to Meta (3500m). Camp
Day 21: Trek to Koto (2600m). Camp
Day 22: Trek to Dharapani (1860m). Camp
Day 23: Trek to Bulbule (840m). Camp
Day 24: Trek to Basisahar/ Kathmandu (175 km/7-8 hours: Drive by bus
Day 25: Extra day Souvenir and sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 26: Final departure transfer to Airport
