Terms and Conditions for Booking with Parikrama Trekking
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking with Parikrama Trekking. By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
- Prices: We guarantee that the price will remain unchanged after you have paid the deposit for booking. However, we reserve the right to increase the price due to the introduction of new taxes, airfare changes, airport taxes, or other unforeseen factors. Our pricing philosophy aligns with responsible tourism principles.
- Reservations/Booking: To ensure the availability of all agreed services (hotels, vehicles, guides, etc.), a booking form must be completed. Bookings can be confirmed by transferring 30% of the total cost along with arrival details, passport information, flight numbers, and itineraries. A contract is established when we issue a confirmation invoice. Your booking indicates your acceptance of our booking conditions.
- Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Inform us of your insurance details before starting your trek tour. While we provide facilities in Nepal, obtaining insurance from your home or work country is advisable for efficient claims processing.
- Data Protection: We use the information you provide (name, address, etc.) to process your booking and ensure smooth travel arrangements. We take responsibility for securing your information and may share it with relevant travel suppliers, security agencies, or credit-checking companies as required. By booking, you consent to this information sharing.
- Date of Departure & Collection Timings: Departure dates and collection timings are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Please confirm these details at the time of booking.
- Passports & Visas: A passport valid for six months is required for entry to Nepal. Visa arrangements are your responsibility and are not included in our costs. We are not responsible for any delays or expenses related to document irregularities.
- Extra Cost: Clients are responsible for unforeseen expenses resulting from factors beyond our control (e.g., landslides, political unrest, personal illness).
- Cancellation: Payment schedules are specified in the booking process. Cancellation charges apply if changes are made. Cancellation by you will result in charges based on the timeline outlined in our policy. We strongly advise insurance coverage against cancellation charges.
- Accident or Loss: We have limited liability for loss, damage, or delays unless due to our negligence. We do not manage vehicles, accommodations, or restaurants and are not liable for losses caused by their proprietors or operators.
- Complaints: Address problems to our operator for quick resolution. Unresolved complaints should be reported in writing to our office in Kathmandu. Compensation may be considered if necessary.
- Helicopter Rescue: Clients are responsible for costs associated with emergency evacuations. Receipts are provided for insurance claims. A signed credit card slip may be required for helicopter rescue authorization.
- Our Liabilities to You: We ensure that agreed-upon services meet reasonable standards. We accept responsibility for acts/omissions of employees, agents, and suppliers. Our liability is limited except for instances of death, injury, or illness.
- General Conditions: We reserve the right to require withdrawal from a tour due to offensive conduct. Tours may be canceled due to lack of demand. Variations to these conditions are only valid if signed by a Director. Your booking indicates acceptance of these conditions.
