TRIP INTRODUCTION

Kathmandu Lhasa Overland Tour is a way of traveling to Tibet by Land from Kathmandu Nepal. It is one of the most adventurous tours to Tibet. This tour combines culture, tradition, mountains of Tibet on the same tour, making it a most go tour of a lifetime. You can also plan this tour during a special occasion of Tibet. You will also reach an altitude of 5300 m above sea level. One can also explore man-made lakes and natural lakes which are above 3000 m. So this tour is a combination of all in Tibetan land.

Tibet Overland tour starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. During your stay, all the visa preparation process goes. Once we get the visa we drive to Nepal Tibet Border. We will visit Kyiriong, Tingri, Shigatse, Lhasa, Gyantse, Shakya. We can also include Rongbuk or Everest Base Camp before returning back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival meet and assist by Parikrama Trekking representative. Transfer to the Hotel.  We provide a short briefing about Kathmandu Lhasa Overland Tour.

Day 02: Sightseeing and Visa Preparation

Today we will visit some of the cultural sites of Kathmandu. Parikrama Trekking will make all the preparation for a visa.

Day 03: Sightseeing

Today we will have sightseeing of the remaining destination. We will also receive a visa by the end of the day.

Day 04: Drive to Syabrubesi

Today we will take a drive to Syabrubesi.

Day 05: Drive to Kyirong

Today we will complete Nepal Tibet Border formality and drive to Kyirong.

Day 06: Drive to Tingri

Today drive takes us to one of the old cities of Tibet.

Day 07: Drive to Shigatse

Today we will cross the high pass of 5220 m above sea level.

Day 08: Drive to Gyantse

Today is a short drive with a sightseeing tour of Gyantse.

Day 09: Drive to Lhasa

Today we will cross two high passes while enjoying the picturesque man-made lake.

Day 10-11 Sightseeing of Lhasa

We will spend two days enjoying the sites of Lhasa.

Day 12: Departure

Kathmandu Lhasa Overland Tour Journey Ends.
